The ASROBICON drive is the active core of the axis or spindle control loop: it receives digital references from the CNC, regulates in real time the current delivered to the servo motor, and maintains position and speed accuracy throughout the machining cycle. A failure in this module causes the immediate and uncontrolled stop of the associated axis or spindle, rendering the machine inoperable until the unit is replaced or repaired.
