Servo Axis Drive – FERROCONTROL S04-00-19
The S04-00-19 is a servo axis drive module (“Servo Axis Drive”) manufactured by FERROCONTROL, designed for use in FERROCONTROL E°CNC systems fitted to CNC machining centres for wood, panel, glass and stone processing. The module controls servo-driven axes by managing the current and velocity loops of the connected servo motor. The full part reference is S04-00-19 (internal code S040019).
The servo axis drive is the heart of the machine’s positioning system: it converts the CNC controller’s position and velocity commands into motor drive currents, closing the feedback loop via encoder or resolver. A drive failure immediately halts the affected axis, making any machining operation impossible until the module is replaced or repaired.
