10″ Monochrome Monitor – OKUMA D10MM-10A

The D10MM-10A is a 10″ industrial monochrome CRT display unit (“10-inch Monochrome CRT Display Unit”) manufactured by OKUMA, documented as the operator display for the OSP 500 (Open System Platform 500) CNC control. The unit renders the operator interface, part programs, alarm messages and machine axis coordinates on a monochrome phosphor cathode-ray tube. It is fitted on OKUMA CNC lathes and machining centres equipped with the OSP 500 control; hardware revisions may differ in connector type or internal display controller firmware version.

The monitor is the primary visual interface between the operator and the OSP 500 CNC control: it displays part programs, machining parameters, alarms and real-time axis positions. A failed display makes machine supervision and command entry impossible, effectively halting production; on controls of this generation, replacement with an identical or compatible unit is typically the only practical solution, as proprietary-format industrial CRTs do not accept generic direct substitutes.

A pioneer in the vertical integration of its own OSP (Open System Platform) controls, OKUMA remains fully independent and active with the current OSP-P300 generation.
